When birthdays fall on fast days, it becomes tricky. But you can still have your cake and eat it too. Here’s a very simple buttercream frosting recipe that is made up much like an ordinary frosting recipe. Try not to all of the frosting before it gets on the cake!
Vegan Buttercream Frosting (soy free)
1 and 1/2 cups Earth Balance buttery spread
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp peanut butter
1 tbsp cocoa powder
1 tsp cashew milk
Combine in stand mixer or large bowl and mix until peaks in frosting form.
