Pioneer Woman Kitchenware Line

(The following post is not a paid endorsement through Wal-Mart or “The Pioneer Woman” herself. I am simply reviewing the product line out of personal appreciation and recommendation. Thank you!)

Show of hands as to how many of you dreamily would peruse the aisles of Williams Sonoma to fill your wishlists and guest registries with in hopes of you too conspiring those Pinterest and Instagram worthy kitchens yet your wallet and budget says Target or Wal-Mart? Or really…just Wal-Mart?

Before you want to frown and start thinking of how much bland Pyrex Tupperware a family really does need, I want you to reconsider that thought and go back inside again. I am not just talking about rethinking Target which you know can be all sorts of wonderful. I am thinking of opening your mind a bit more and rethinking places like Wal-Mart as well.

Once known as a bland, boring big box superstore that was the only place where you got exercise rallying up your children has seriously been making some strides. One of them is the Pioneer Woman’s kitchen dinnerware product line. Polka dot mixing bowls, daisy imprinted rolling pins and measuring cups that seriously look too cute to be just pouring ingredients in are all part of this exclusive  line only available at Wal-Mart. Her line receives excellent reviews as well. Stock varies by location but shopping online will point you to her entire line of dinnerware options, table linens, drinkware, pantry essentials, dinnerware, bakeware, serveware, kitchen linens and cookbooks.

Ree Drummond is the author behind the Pioneer Woman, a recipe and lifestyle blog. I am not sure how she’s become so popular but everyone in the blogosphere to now across the country knows about the Pioneer Woman. From an almost lawyer to now blogger and television personality, Ree traded in torts, depositions and heels for life on the open range after she fell in love with her husband that she only refers to on the blog as “Marlboro Man” (to be honest, I never liked that name but that’s not my business because I would think of the cigarette brand everytime no matter how stinkin’ cute their love story is) on the blog. For the longest while, she shared comfort dishes and what her life was like in love and cooking for and raising a family on the range. Sadly, these comfort dishes are not fasting friendly. Her popularity has taken off into a nationally syndicated spot on Food Network and since recently came out with her own idea of an adorable, well made, expensive looking and rustic style pieces from her product line that can make any kitchen, big or small, feel cozy and Pinterest/Instagram worthy. Sadly, The Pioneer Woman’s recipes are not fasting friendly or a lot of times even vegetarian – but who said you had to fast from delectable cute dishes?

I can see it now… it’s in there somewhere in church canon to fast from cute dinner dishes.

No, stop.

Stop, Stop.

It’s not in there. I promise. 🙂

But I still have to shop at Wal-Mart?  Now, now. Everything deserves a closer look. Especially cute, functional things. I break for cute, functional things. After all, wouldn’t you?

This four piece measuring cup set is too, too cute to just live with the fact they are going to be filled and poured for the duration of their lifespan… which is why I may eat my cereal out of it one day. Maybe.

This is one of the many positive things happening at Wal-Mart lately. Stop by or shop online and make your kitchen a little more cozier without breaking bank. Have you tried one of the Pioneer Woman’s line at Wal-Mart yet? What do you think? Share in the comments below.
